Life......

This whole single parent thing is in full swing and I have to say I am not a fan. I am in a blogging slump. It seems it is survival of the fittest.
Check out these beauties that were delivered by one of my many true loves, Brooke. They were to die for. I am a sucker for a great sugar cookie. Next to homemade, these bad boys were perfect!!! I am sure Brooke brought one for each of us, but I think I ate 2 and a half. Thanks Brooke!!!
Saturday we got one last swim in before the summer ends. My two boys too to the high dive like pros. It was so funny to watch them. Josh even attempted a flip and almost had it. Little belly slap that had him sit out a few jumps and then right back to it.

Weekend Wrap Up

Our time with Annie came to an end on Saturday night. It was sad to see my "little bean pole" leave. We had so much fun with her. All the girl needs for a good time is a bin and some water.

Just want to squeeze her!!!

Sunday evening the boys a fun in this human "rat ball". I am surprised that we have yet to have a serious accident, Yes that is Josh being run over by James. It kept the boys happy and therefore Mom and Dad happy.

Our New Addition For The Week

Annie has been a welcomed addition to our little family this week. The boys are having so much fun with her. This is sad, but I am getting a sore arm from holding the little bean pole. I guess since it is the only bit of exercise I get these days it will have to be OK. Sprinkler under the tramp was a great success. That girl just ran with the boys.

Josh had filled up this bin a little bit before with hose water to "play baptism" (Is that OK to let your kid play that??? This coming from the kid that just HATES when it is"church day) I guess he could be playing something worse. After Josh Annie took a dip into the COLD water. I guess hypothermia doesn't really bother her.

This is my favorite, and a good reason while one should be careful when asking to have their kids at the Bentley's. She was just able to to sit in the bin and breath in air. However, there were a few inhales of water, but she seemed to choke it down Ok. Note to the next sitter of Annie's.....the kid is not really bother by inhaling mouths full of water and a bit of hypothermia.

Josh wanted to get in with her, but she kept pushing him away that I guess getting is head under was good enough.

A little fearful for Annie has she is pushed away. I never know what that kid is thinking.

This smile is to die for. I love walking into get her out of bed and her big grin staring back at you. She is such a fun baby to have around.

Our New Life

After my experience finishing up school 2 years ago, I thought we were out of the woods with schooling and all that comes with it. Wishful thinking.
Last week Brad started the MBA program down at BYU. Despite the fact we here at the Bentley house bleed RED profusely, I am glad Brad was able to get into the program he wanted.
So for the next 2 years please lower all expectations of the Bentleys. Brad has school Tuesday and Thursday nights and weekly group confrence calls Wednesdays.
Wish us luck and hopefully James and Josh come out alive.

St. George

Another St. George trip for the books and this one was non-stop. We headed down with Amy and her crew and this was the sight at the local Burger King in the middle of Utah.

The kids watching the pool boy clean the pool.

Amy and 2 of her girls. Such cuddlers.

Nurse Amy and assistant Jenny. Poor Pagie fell on the edge of the pool and split her chin open. Nothing a little super glue and butterflies couldn't fix.
The local splash pad. Those are the best!!! I wish we could get a few built up north.
Nothing like cuddling with the one you love under and skull and cross bones blanket.
Dinner with 7 kids is an adventure.
This little activity was all the rage. I don't really know how many times one was left in tears. I guess that that doesn't kill you will make you stronger.

The pool was where we spent most of our time. The kids had so much fun with one another and in the water. I don't know how Trent and Amy do it with all those kiddos, but we had so much fun.
One of my highlights.........
this was about half of my trip home.
