Spring Break

I love nothing better than a trip to St. George. My boys love it. I love it and everyone is happy.

Since the boys had a week off of school, and Bentley's were not using their condo I jumped. The boys and I drove down Friday after school and brad drove down Friday night after work. We found plenty to do and the weather was perfect.

White donuts and Diet Coke. Jackson was in heaven.

A fabulous hike with the Clines. It was one the boys could and i wouldn't hear complaints and there were little water falls and pools the boys could play in.

Plenty of Easter Egg hunts the local Wal-mart had an Easter Egg hunt that I took the boys to. We also did an Easter Egg hunt at the pool. We placed pennies in plastic eggs and the boys had to dive for them and turn in their pennies for a prize. We had an egg hunt at the park by the river.....plenty of treats and fun for awhile.

An evening at the Jensen's to place a cherry on top of the perfect St. George experience.

Lifes A Beach

We headed to St. George for part of Spring Break...It was wonderful. Sun, Sand and Fun.

I ran into a friend that told me about a park that was on the Virgin River Bank, and had great sand.

We decided to check it out.

IT WAS PERFECT.

The sand was just like the soft warm sand found at Lake Powell and the river was perfect depth for the kiddos to play in.

It was all to perfect.

Plenty of soft warm sand, a slow flowing river, and lots of fun.

Jackson would just lay down on the sand. I think it loved that it was soft and warm. Perfect spot to be with him.

A new favorite for this crew.

Can't wait to make it back.

Waxing = $10.00

On Sundays anything can happen. Lots of time and Aunts looking for something to do.

Sunday afternoon Brooke and Jenny came down to have their eyebrows waxed.

Brooke thought it would be fun to wax Josh.

With much persuasion and $10.00 on the line Josh buckled.

I think at this point Josh is re-thinking all of this.

Totally impressed...Josh didn't scream or anything. He took it like a man.

$10.00 later and a red forehead he is happy.

We are off to Target after school.

Josh's Award

Josh came home from school with one of those notes addressed "To The Parents of Josh Bentley"

What could my sweet little boy have done to warrant a note home.

He got an award from from school for doing so good in school.

He was so excited. We had a count down each day.

The morning finally arrived.

He was just as excited as Christmas morning. He was up at 5:30 ready for things to get going.

It was so fun to go to school and see this kid smile from ear to ear.

I was so proud of him.
