Bell Canyon

Saturday afternoon we headed for a hike in the canyons.
It was great weather, an easy enough hike that kids could do it, and great company.

Josh was in the water within minutes of passing the no swimming signs. Like a moth to a flame. Josh loves water.
Jackson was happy as can be throwing rocks.
James was set on skipping rocks

Runaway Jury

I received this little surprise in the mail..... AGAIN
I am just over my two years since I last served and therefore can be called again.
I guess I did a really good job last time.

Lessons Learned

* Nothing better than a sandbox for entertainment
*I should really clean my blinds more often. Every few years just is not going to cut it. (Yep, I said years)
*Trust myself and my instincts
*Do better with some ARK (Acts of Random Kindness)
I have been the recipient and it feels amazing
*I can do things around the house....learning to install a new garbage disposal, toilet and faucet

*Stop cleaning up after Jackson. When I put him in time out he pulls everything out of his dresser...I know he is trying to prove a point. I have stopped reacting to the mess and cleaning it up.
Two can play this game.

*My life/problems/trials could always be worse. I try to find things everyday to be grateful for.

*As hard as it is to watch my kids try things they shouldn't...Josh and Jackson just need to figure things out for themselves

When Were Helping Were Happy

Many Hands Make Light Work!!
For Family Night this week my family and I all met up at our Grandma's house to help with some yard work.
With all of us there and working we were able to get so much done.
We were able to get done what was needed and still have plenty of time to play and have dinner.
We were lucky enough to also have a visit by Cameron, Jill and Mason. (crazy, just 4 days after his arrival)
Always a good time being together.

Buried Alive

Having a evening with nothing to do.....
we all ended up in the sand box burying the boys.

The clean up.....

I told the boys that they couldn't go in the house with all the sand.
They needed a hose off then they could get in the shower.
So cold!!
