42. I love that when you were called into the bishopric that you went to sit on the stand in your dockers and shirt (did you even have a tie?)

46. I love your willingness to be a temple worker so early in the morning
47. I love the example you set for us by getting up early to read your scriptures
48. I love the way it took you "forever" to get the video camera ready for Christmas morning
49. I love the ability you have to find "project" to be done (I am sure we had one every Saturday growing up)
50. I love that you can fix anything
51. I love the way you protect those you love

53. I love that you had the sacrament passed at the end of your meeting to keep from the mass exit. (makes me smile)

55. I love that you always have bubble gum for my kids
56. I love that the gospel is so important in your life.

I think this is one of the best posts ever! You touched on so many things about Dad that I love too! We are so lucky to have such an amazing Dad and have so many good lessons and memories from him. I love that it brought me to tears at work. Dad is great!

I'm with Jill, I really think this is one of your best posts. Such a great list. I was laughing, crying, happy, sad (thinking of painting tar on the cabin walls and weeding EVERY Saturday).

Great post Heidi! Loved the list! And I am so glad your dad raised you guys the way he did! It was fun to hang out with you today at his birthday lunch-kidless I might add! That doesn't happen too often for us!

You are way too nice Heidi - but I do appreciate the kind thoughts. As I read each one of the "57" things it was like a walk down memory lane - it was a long lane - but great memories. You did miss one thing though - you should have said I like the way Dad is so proud of his kids because they all turned out awesome.
