Tuesday night (I parent solo since Brad is at school), I finally had the kids in bed, when Josh shows up with a tooth that feel out. He was so excited!!! Josh placed it in a sandwich bag to show Brad in the morning.
Come Wednesday morning and the routine of getting kiddos out the door for school.
Boys out the door....Mom..".sigh"...
I pick up Josh from school and once we are home he asks about his tooth. I asked where is placed it..
Josh.."I put it on the counter before school"
Mom.."It is not on the counter and I haven't seen it"
Josh.."I set it on the corner"
I call Brad to ask if he saw it.
Brad made James' lunch...
(you can guess where this is going)
Brad..."There was a bag on the counter while I was making James' lunch, but I didn't see a tooth in it."
I grab Jackson and Josh and we jump in the car to catch James before lunch.
James is out at lunch recess.
Josh.."James, did you see my tooth in your sandwich bag?"
James.."No, but there was something hard in my sandwich and I spit it out and threw it away."
At least he spit it out.
I can't be positive, but I bet that Brad used the bag that had Josh's tooth in it to put James' sandwich in.
I don't know if I should laugh or cry, but this is my life.
